چکیده

Complex systems require an especially high level of coordination and integration. To address this need, the authors developed GenSIF, a generic framework to help developers understand software and integration issues in domain-specific, large-scale systems development. he software research community has expended much effort to identify and specify advanced process models , especially models of the systems development process. This has given us a variety of process models , supporting tools, and related information models. However, complex systems require an especially high level of coordination and integration—one that is related to software design concepts. 1 Only recently have these concepts been recognized under the " domain-specific software architectures " label. The Engineering of Computer-Based Systems model, developed by the IEEE Technical Committee on ECBS, identifies the major artifacts and their interrelationships in computer-based systems development. 2 Figure 1 shows the constituents of this model: process, architecture, information , and methods and tools.

Style-Based Software Architectural Compositions as Domain-Specific Models

Architectural styles represent composition patterns and constraints at the software architectural level and are targeted at families of systems with shared characteristics. While both style-specific and style-neutral modeling environments for software architectures exist, creation of such environments is expensive and frequently involves reinventing the wheel. This paper describes the rapid des...

Towards a Generic Framework for Evaluating Component-Based Software Architectures

The evaluation of software architectures is crucial to ensure that the design of software systems meets the requirements. We present a generic methodical framework that enables the evaluation of component-based software architectures. It allows to determine system characteristics on the basis of the characteristics of its constituent components. Basic prerequisites are discussed and an overview...

Towards a Generic Governance Model for Service Oriented Architectures

Over the past years, Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) Systems have been recognized more and more as a serious alternative to common monolithic systems for Enterprise Architectures (EA). An SOA provides a flexible means of effectively mapping business processes to IT processes. However, large IT systems require consistent leadership – IT Governance. For SOAs, governance faces new challenges. ...

A Model of Authors’ Generic Competence of EAP Research Articles: A Qualitative Meta-Synthesis Approach

Genre analysis as an area of great concern in recent decades, involves the observation of linguistic features used by a determined discourse community. The research article (RA) is one of the most widely researched genres in academic writing which is realized through some rhetorical moves and discursive steps to achieve a communicative purpose. This study aimed at proposing a model of generic p...

مدل عملکردی تحلیلی FPGA برای پردازش با قابلیت پیکربندی مجدد

Optimizing FPGA architectures is one of the key challenges in digital design flow. Traditionally, FPGA designers make use of CAD tools for evaluating architectures in terms of the area, delay and power. Recently, analytical methods have been proposed to optimize the architectures faster and easier. A complete analytical power, area and delay model have received little attention to date. In addi...
